Rush In Markets Across The Country Ahead Of Diwali
With just few days left for Diwali, markets in the country witnessed heavy footfall today. People thronged to different markets for Diwali shopping. Locals thronged the NSB Road market in Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli to buy clothes, jewelry, firecrackers, and household items. Security has been strengthened in the area to prevent any untoward event during the Diwali gathering. Tiruchirappalli police is monitoring the crowd through surveillance CCTV cameras. Markets in the Civil Line area in UP's Prayagraj also witnessed a huge rush. People thronged markets at Champahati town in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas to buy firecrackers.
