RSS Links In NCERT Political Science Panel? NSUI Raises Questions

NCERT has reconstituted the textbook development team for Classes 11 and 12 Political Science, with the panel tasked with incorporating cultural rootedness, Indian knowledge systems and inclusion. Reports claim that at least four members of the panel have direct or indirect links with the RSS. The NSUI has raised concerns over what it describes as RSS influence in the textbook revision process. The team, led by academic and political analyst Sandeep Shastri, is expected to complete the Class 11 textbook by November and the Class 12 book by July next year.
