After Karnataka took a major decision of scrapping 4 per cent Other Backward Classes (OBC) category for Muslims and distributed it equally to Lingayats and Vokkaligas, Home Minister Amit Shah called the reservation for Muslims was unconstitutionally allocated by the Congress. Protests have broken out across the state.
