The Interpol has issued a Red Corner Notice against Amy Modi, the wife of fugitive diamond merchant Nirav Modi. The notice has been issued in connection with money laundering cases registered against her in India. A Red Corner Notice serves as an international arrest warrant and starts the extradition process. Similar notices have already been served against Nirav Modi, his brother Nehal (who is a Belgian citizen) and his sister Purvi. Nirav Modi, 48, who was arrested in London last year, is fighting extradition to India. He is currently lodged at Wandsworth Prison in London.
