Rebels Can't Be Disqualified, 2 Independent MLAs Tell Maharashtra Deputy Speaker

Independent MLA Mahesh Baldi reached Vidhan Bhavan today and gave a letter to the Deputy Speaker stating that he cannot disqualify the 12 rebel MLAs. He said he has cited several such judgements of the Supreme Court in his letter. The MVA government doesn't have the required numbers and they can't disqualify any MLA, he said, adding if the MLAs are disqualified, they will also go to the court. Mr Baldi was accompanied by another Independent MLA, Vinod Agarwal.
