Dravidian politics is set for a realignment and it could have a major bearing on national politics as well. The bitter power struggle in Tamil Nadu's ruling AIADMK, which began after the death of J Jayalalithaa, may end soon as the two warring factions have inched closer to a merger. Meanwhile, AIADMK's rival the DMK pulled off a coup of sorts by roping in two big stars, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, to the event organised to mark 75 years of the party's mouthpiece 'Murasoli'.
