Emphasising institutional deliveries to prevent maternal deaths, Neonatalogost and Padma Bhushan awardee Dr Neelma Kler said, "If we want to prevent maternal and neo-natal deaths, we have to reach the unreachable - those are in far-flung regions, hilly areas - or where healthcare has not penetrated." Dr Kler was speaking on the Banega Swasth India season 9 finale, she said, "Skilled birth attendants and health cadre need to be developed in all parts of the country."
