A bizarre incident unfolded at a liquor shop in Ranchi’s Ormanjhi Chowk when a monkey entered the shop, broke open a half-bottle of liquor and drank from it. Shortly after consuming the alcohol, the monkey lay down on a carton inside the shop and appeared to fall asleep in a stupor-like state. Bystanders were left astonished by the unusual scene and captured the incident on their mobile phones. The video of the monkey drinking liquor and later lying inside the shop has since drawn attention in the area.
