Ramayana Movie Review Ranbir Kapoor | Stars Reveal Acting Challenges and Diwali Plans

actors Ranbir Kapoor and Yash star as Rama and Ravana in blockbuster movie "Ramayana: Rise of a Legend," which tells the ancient story of Rama, an avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, as he battles the demon king Ravana. While preparing to play the mythical characters required arduous physical training for both actors, the pair admit that getting into shape was not their biggest challenge. "I think really to understand the sense of these characters, you know, who they are because they're so ingrained in our subconscious since the day we were born, you know, all Indians," explains Kapoor, who plays the title character, Prince Rama. "So to have the responsibility and to represent them in the correct way, you know, that's a pressure that you have to, you know, really take seriously and really really try and make an authentic version of the characters."
