Ram Temple Donation Row: UP Forms SIT After Akhilesh Yadav's Allegations

A political controversy has erupted over alleged irregularities in donations made to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav claimed that reports suggest several crores of rupees in donations are unaccounted for and demanded judicial intervention and a court-monitored probe. In response, the Uttar Pradesh government has constituted a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT), stating that the move was made following a request from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The BJP has rejected the allegations and defended the decision to launch the investigation.
