Raj Thackeray Backs 'Vote Theft' Allegations, Urges Probe Into Voter List Irregularities

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, addressing party workers in Pune ahead of the civic polls, supported opposition claims of vote theft. Citing concerns raised by both Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and BJP’s Anurag Thakur regarding voter lists, Thackeray emphasized that when doubts are being voiced by leaders from both the opposition and the ruling party, the Election Commission of India should take the matter seriously and investigate. He alleged that the Commission avoids probing the issue due to fear that the vote manipulation over the past 10 years would be exposed.
