Rain Havoc In Darjeeling: Roads Buried, Villages Cut Off, 24 Dead

In Darjeeling, 12 hours of relentless rain have triggered a series of devastating landslides, killing at least 24 people, including children. Roads and bridges have been destroyed, villages cut off, and hundreds of tourists stranded in hotels and homestays. Rescue operations are underway as Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is expected to visit the affected areas today.
