Race For Marks And The Indian Student
CBSE Class X 2018 results were announced today for more than 16 lakh students. Four students tie for top rank with scores of 499 out of 500. With a total of 27,476 students scoring more than 95% marks and while 1,31,493 students scored equal to or more than 90% marks, this years overall pass percentage, 86.70%, was 4.25% lower than 2017's 90.95%. Is race for marks the only way to judge merit?
