"Qatar Not Involved In Any Talks Between Iran & US": Foreign Ministry
A Qatar foreign ministry spokesperson stated on Tuesday that his country is "not involved in these talks", in reference to talks between U.S. and Iran. Majed al-Ansari, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson, said that the ministry is not "privy" to any discussions but encourages dialogue and a peaceful end to the Iran war. "We in the Gulf believe in peace with Iran, we in the gulf believe in coexistence, we believe we believe in reaching out to Iran. It's now up to the Iranians post this war of course to decide how they're going to rebuild the trust that was lost due to their attacks on our sovereignty," he added.
