Putin Meets Xi At SCO Summit, Discusses Permanent Visa-Free Travel
Russian President Vladimir Putin met Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The two leaders discussed growing tourist traffic between Russia and China following the introduction of a 30-day visa-free travel scheme, as well as the possibility of making it permanent. Putin is also scheduled to meet other leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at the SCO summit.
