Russia's Vladimir Putin spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday, days after he met US President Donald Trump in Alaska to discuss a permanent end to the war on Ukraine.
A statement from Prime Minister Modi's office this evening said the PM underlined India's position on the conflict that has been raging since February 2022. The statement said the PM called for a peaceful resolution of the war and said India will offer its full support in this regard.
