A major protest has erupted at Panjab University after the death of a PhD scholar, who was allegedly electrocuted while walking on a waterlogged road inside the campus during heavy rainfall. The tragic incident has triggered widespread anger among students, who are accusing the university administration of negligence and demanding immediate accountability. Leading the protest, Panjab University Campus Students Council (PUCSC) members gathered outside the administrative block, raising slogans and calling for the resignation of the university's Vice Chancellor.
