Punjab Congress Rift Deepens After Channi Camp's Show Of Strength

Differences within the Congress party in Punjab has intensified after the Channi faction met party in-charge Bhupesh Baghel, demanding the removal of the Leader of the Opposition in the state. The meeting, attended by several MLAs and former candidates revolved around the Channi faction’s growing influence. While Baghel assured that the concerns would be conveyed to the party high command, senior leaders have dismissed reports of factionalism and expressed confidence that the issues will be resolved through dialogue.
