Bengaluru will soon host the new government in its iconic Vidhan Souda. The city has many expectations from its to be formed new government. As per Tom Tom Index (Traffic index) the city is the second slowest city in the world, with time taken to travel 10 kms being 29 mins and 10 sec. Owing to poor road infrastructure and under construction projects like the Namma Metro Phase 2 Expansion project, traffic woes of the city have only grown. The city's municipal body BBMP -Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike, and BWSSB - Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board have been in the news due to scarcity of water, when Bengaluru receives rain almost throughout the year and flooding in the city during heavy down pours which is a common phenomenon during the Monsoons. Will the new government do something to harvest rainwater?
