Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will appear before the Enforcement Directorate or ED in Ranchi tomorrow. The ED in its investigation into at least three money laundering cases claims to have compelling evidence against Mr Soren, implicating him in a land case, illegal mining, and coal mining in the state. As trouble mounts for the incumbent Chief Minister, there is concern growing of misuse of investigating agencies also in the neighboring state. In Bihar, former Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav was questioned in the land-for-jobs scam for over eight hours today. He was named as an accused in the first CBI Chargesheet, his father and RJD supremo Lalu Yadav was questioned for almost 10 hours just a day before.
