Following the crackdown on pro-Palestine protests at Columbia University last week, several student encampments have sprung up in universities across the US. Columbia cancelled in-person classes, dozens of protesters were arrested at New York University and Yale, and the gates to Harvard Yard were closed to the public on April 22 as some of the most prestigious U.S. universities sought to defuse campus tensions over Israel's war with Hamas. NDTV's Nandini Gupta reports on these protests, which continue to persist.
