Politics Peaks Over Dharmasthala Row; Who Paid YouTubers To Peddle Lies?

Fresh revelations have added a new twist to the Dharmasthala controversy. A popular YouTuber, Sumanth Gowda, alleges that influencers were being paid to run a propaganda campaign against the temple town and that even he was approached with money to post negative content. This comes just weeks after sensational claims of 'mass burials' in Dharmasthala, which are already under SIT investigation. The man at the centre of those claims has since been arrested for lying, but the row refuses to die down. Now, with political parties jumping in the BJP calling it an 'anti-Hindutva conspiracy' the issue has turned into a major flashpoint in Karnataka.
