Political Storm Over Raids On Karnataka Minister
On the day a Karnataka minister was raided by the Income Tax department at the resort where the Gujarat Congress MLAs are staying, there was an uproar in parliament with the Congress alleging political witch-hunt by the BJP to win one Rajya Sabha seat. The government countered calling these baseless allegations by the Congress, saying that raids were carried out on the Minister and not Congress MLAs.
