"PM's Vision On e-Governance Helped Us During Covid": Rajeev Chandrasekhar

Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar highlighted the role Prime Minister Narendra Modi played in fusing technology and governance. "Post 2014, we had a political leader who understood the power of technology to improve governance. He, our PM, made max governance his goal and said, 'How will I use tech to deliver on that?' Then the two fused and you got UPI, Aadhaar, the concept of a stack. If that vision, that clarity, and that architecture had not been put in place before the Covid pandemic in 2020, we would really be floundering," Mr Chandrasekhar said.
