It was scenes of devastation caused by natural disasters like the 2004 tsunami, Gujarat earthquake and the Orissa cyclone that brought an outpouring of concern and donations from across the country to the Prime Minister's relief fund. Mujibur Rehman, a medical assistant, joined 4.5 lakh other employees of Coal India Limited, to do his bit. But Rehman was not convinced that the money reached the PMO or the victims. He filed a petition with the PMO under Right to Information Act last year.
