Targeting Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Modi alleged that the state government does not allow central initiatives to reach villages unless it gets a "cut of the money." He claimed the TMC government "neither works itself nor lets others work," adding that this is why many central schemes fail to reach the intended beneficiaries in the state.
