Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP chief JP Nadda led a show of strength in Assam with a focus on the national election in 2024 in the north-east. Mr Shah also took a swipe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra. Mr Shah said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the first leader who started the actual "Bharat jodo".
