PM KISAN Scheme: 'Official' Cash Handout?
The Election Commission has given the government the go-ahead to make payments under the PM-KISAN scheme to beneficiaries who were already enrolled before the Model Code of Conduct came into effect. Based on official data accessed by NDTV, this works out to Rs 19,000 crore being paid to 4.7 crore households, or approximately 10 crore voters.
