Having suffered a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Germany, Portugal need to bounce back and turn things around in their clash against USA. Portugal cannot afford to take things lightly and need a win to have any hopes of entering the Round of 16. In the 2010 edition, Portugal had lost to Spain in the second round. Spain have already been eliminated from the tournament after losses at the hands of Netherlands and Chile, both of whom have qualified for the next round.
