At Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif New York, both leaders agreed that Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) will begin special separate meetings to bring down tensions along the Line of Control (LoC). The government said the effort was focused on making it possible to move towards a broader dialogue, adding that the stage hadn't come yet. Will the meeting of the prime ministers prove to be a step forward in normalisation of bilateral relations?
