The new Gujarat cabinet has been sworn in and as expected, many new faces in the team will face elections in the state next year. Former Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has been dropped from the cabinet as was being speculated. He was said to be unhappy over being overlooked for the Chief Minister post again.
