In a sensational claim at the launch of Barkha Dutt's first book 'This Unquiet Land', former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee was ready to make the Line of Control, a permanent border, and had in fact offered this solution to Pakistan during his visit to Lahore.
