Trump Speaks On Latest Assassination Attempt, Iran Leadership, And EU Tariffs In Florida Speech

US President Donald Trump addressed supporters in Florida’s The Villages, where he referenced the recent reported assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents Dinner and joked, “I shouldn’t be here.” Trump said authorities had described it as an attempt on his life. During the speech, Trump also spoke about ongoing negotiations with Iran, saying he had spoken to them but was “not satisfied” with their latest proposal, adding that Iran’s leadership was difficult to figure out.
