PM hosts BSP chief Mayawati for lunch ahead of Winter session
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's reach-out to allies continues. So after hosting Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav for dinner on Friday, the PM is meeting Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati over lunch today. The meetings come as the government looks to firm up its strategy and put up a united front to face the Opposition in the upcoming winter session of Parliament.
