With the debate on 1984 riots having been reignited following Rahul Gandhi's admission that some Congressmen were probably involved, there has been a war of words between Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and senior Congress leader Captain Amarinder Singh. Capt Singh insists that Mr Badal is in no position to demand an apology from the Congress vice-president. He alleges that Mr Badal actually hid in a farmhouse when Operation Bluestar was taking place.
