On Camera: IAS Officer Who Survived 7 Gunshots Seen 'Shoving, Trying To Slap' UP BJP Leader
The Jalaun district administration has ordered an inquiry after IAS officer and Jalaun SDM Rinkoo Singh Rahee was accused of allegedly shoving and attempting to slap BJP leader and Block Pramukh Ram Raja Niranjan during an inspection of a cold storage facility. The incident, which took place on June 23, came to light after Niranjan released CCTV footage of the alleged confrontation. Rinkoo Singh Rahee, a 2022-batch IAS officer, has denied the allegations and termed them false and misleading. According to Niranjan, the confrontation occurred during a joint inspection of a cold storage facility in Jalaun's Mitara Orai village, where he is a major shareholder. The district administration has now ordered a probe into the incident.
