At NDTV's Bihar Power Play conclave in Patna, Prashant Kishor, founder of the Jan Suraaj Party, declared that his party will not ally with any political group either before or after the Bihar Assembly elections, even giving the assurance in writing. Kishor said Jan Suraaj is contesting independently and that voters must take a "leap of faith" if they want change. When asked about a possible post-poll alliance in case of a hung assembly, he admitted he could not guarantee the loyalty of his MLAs, citing the "lure of money and fear of CBI pressure."
