Not replenishing nature and ruthless exploitation of natural reserves is badly affecting the Koli fishermen along the Mumbai coastline. The catch has dwindled drastically because of various reasons, including illegal trawling and rampant construction along the coastline. A handful of garbage is all that these fishermen are able to catch. The fishing community is facing difficult times, as the fish in the Arabian Sea have depleted drastically.
