Mokama Murder Probe: JDU Leader Sent to 14 Days Jail; Political Battle Heats Up
JDU candidate and former Bihar MLA Anant Singh has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody for his alleged involvement in the murder of Dularchand Yadav, a supporter of Jan Suraaj. Along with Anant Singh, two other accused have been arrested by the police.
The opposition and the NDA have engaged in a war of words over the arrest. The Mahagathbandhan has claimed credit for the arrest, citing their pressure as the reason, while the NDA countered that no criminals would be spared, contrasting the current government with the previous "jungle raj" era.
