Jagrati Awasthi, the second topper of the UPSC exams, speaks to NDTV on her transition from engineering to bureaucracy. She said her shift from electrical engineering is due to her desire to work in the grassroots level. She said her engineering background is also an advantage as she can use her knowledge in bettering renewable energy.
