Harsh Mariwala, Chairman and Founder of Marico, who has written a book 'Harsh Realities' in which he shares anecdotes and lessons from a unique entrepreneurial journey, which saw the transformation of a family-run business into an international FMCG giant, speaks to NDTV on the harsh realities of doing business in a post-pandemic world. Mr Mariwala said, "Boosting demand is the need of the hour, along with a new set of reforms that will help to open up new job avenues, as India sees employment rates nosedive." While acknowledging that the first and second Covid waves had thrown up supply chain issues, Mr Mariwala said that he's hopeful that an economic revival is not too far away.
