The controversy over the land scams probe in Karnataka refuses to die down. Over the past few days, the Lokayukta, Justice Santosh Hegde, had strongly objected to the government transferring the cases involving Chief Minister Yeddyurapa to a parallel commission of inquiry, saying it was an insult to his office. And now, Governor H R Bharadwaj too has expressed his displeasure.
