Rahul Gandhi tweeted a photo with Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia, their arms linked in harmony, indicating that the fight for the chief minister's job in one state was over. Kamal Nath is likely to be named chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, a decision that his younger rival Jyotiraditya Scindia apparently accepted after marathon meetings today. "It is not a race, it is not about the kursi (post), we are here to serve the people of Madhya Pradesh," Mr Scindia told reporters. The Congress president had even consulted his mother Sonia Gandhi and sister Priyanka Vadra as the crisis peaked.
