India's biodiversity creates hot debate

Till now the controversy over the Kundankulam nuclear plant has mostly generated hot air in debates, but now biologists are expressing deep worries that the lukewarm, non-radioactive water discharged from the Kudankulam and Jaitapur nuclear power plants may affect the complexion of plants and animals that live near the mega power plants. And these issues found echo at the on-going UN Convention on Biological Diversity in Hyderabad.
