The latest rainfall data in Bihar this week shows the state has the worst rainfall deficit in the country. The state faces at least 97 per cent deficit rainfall, compared to double or more rainfall from Rajasthan in the north to Telangana in the south. Farmers in Bihar are concerned over the extreme rainfall deficit.
