Heavy rain and landslides have claimed at least 15 lives in Uttarakhand region over the last two days. The highways to Tehri and the pilgrim destinations of Badrinath, Yamnotri and Gangotri have been blocked. So has the area around Dharchoola on the border with China and Nepal.
