A water protest in Harda, Madhya Pradesh, has not going the way the first one in a neighbouring village did. This time, the state government has not accepted the villagers' demands and instead began a crackdown at dawn today to bring out the protesters, who have been sitting in neck-deep water to demand that the water level in the Indira Sagar dam be lowered from 262 to 260 metres.
