A tiny village in Gujarat could not be less bothered about the great cash crunch that's giving the rest of India sleepless nights, sometimes literally, waiting in queue outside ATMs. The people of Akodara are making their payments, even for sums as small as Rs. 10, through a simple phone text message. The messages - mentioning the recipient's account number and the amount to be transferred -- are sent to the bank, which then does the needful.
