The overwhelming Opposition has pushed the government into launching a reach out as it tries to silence criticisms that it didn't consult allies and opponents before clearing the policy. An all-party meeting has been called on Tuesday where all strident positions on FDI will clash. On paper, the number game is tilted against the FDI in Parliament, but, sources in the government say, it has no plan to let the FDI policy be decided by numbers.
