Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will be the chief minister of Maharashtra, leading the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress alliance. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has called a special assembly session at 8 am for the oath-taking of newly-elected MLAs. Senior Advocate and Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi tells NDTV that the three parties took longer than expected to finalise their alliance because they were doing a solid engineering.
